Ridership
Average weekday ridership
for the month of June 2024 was 115,722 up by 4,387 or 1% from the previous
year. Fiscal year-to-date ridership is 47,029,062, up by 5% from the previous
year.
Ridership continues to
recover in 2024 and is still approximately 33 percent lower than pre-pandemic
level.

On-Time Performance
System-wide on-time
performance is at 74.7% for the month of June 2024. Out of 117 total routes, 47
routes exceeded on-time performance of 80% and 1 performed under 50%.
The DTS and OTS Service
Review Committee reviews service levels, including on-time performance monthly.

Safety and Security
The number of miles between major collisions is trending higher, reaching
over 496,164 miles for the year.
The number of reported injuries from passenger slips and falls has
increased this year as well as assaults.

Maintenance
The miles between
mechanical road calls have improved, averaging 12,976 miles for the year.

Service Modifications
Service modifications were
implemented with the June sign-up and remain in effect until the August
sign-up.

Route
11, discontinued.

Route
551/552, due to the discontinuation of Route 11, one (1) additional bus is
being added to provide service every 30 minutes.

432, discontinued.

Formerly
Route 43 Waipahu-Honolulu-Alapai. Route
is being restructured and will discontinue service between Farrington Highway/Kahualii Street and Alapai Transit Center. Route will provide service between Hoaeae West Loch Skyline Station and Farrington
Highway/Opposite Waiawa Road.

303, discontinue service on Elliott Street and Kuntz Avenue.

1L, will be renamed to Route 1L Halawa-Hawaii Kai. Service will be modified to provide eastbound
and westbound service along Bougainville Drive and Radford Drive.
